DUBAI, UAE – June 27, 2024 – Lox Quality Control and TIC Quality Control have jointly secured a contract with The Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQC) in Iraq. The partnership will oversee the pre-inspection, testing, and issuance of certificates of conformity for goods imported into the Republic of Iraq.
The announcement was made during a high-profile event held at the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai. Key presenters of VOC program are Osama Al Kilani, Business Development Manager of TIC Quality Control, Majd Nassri, Operation Manager at TIC Quality Control, and Mohammed Hassan Mahmood, CEO of Lox Quality Control. The event was attended by the Commercial Attaché representative of the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Dubai as well as delegates from commercial and trading companies exporting to the Republic of Iraq.
The partnership between Lox and TIC Quality Control will play an important role in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of goods entering Iraq. Their responsibilities will encompass a comprehensive range of services, from initial pre-inspection to final certification, ensuring that all imported goods meet the rigorous standards set by the Iraqi government.
During the presentation, the speakers elaborated on the certification of conformity program and its importance in regulating Iraq’s import market.
